Writer/director Anders Thomas Jensen pairs some exciting action sequences with warmth, humor, and a thought-provoking look at the unseen mechanics of life. It’s at times compelling and fascinating while never losing focus as an engaging and entertaining thriller. As revenge pictures go, Riders of Justice arrives at an unusually fresh conclusion.

I just hope Hooch doesn’t die here, like the dog did in the original film. I adore kid-friendly dog movies like Beethoven, Frankenweenie (the death there doesn’t count because he comes back to life), and Homeward Bound, but dogs dying on screen is not my cup of tea. So, I am rooting for a happy ending — maybe with Hooch finding a girlfriend or rescuing more dogs from the shelter. And hey, maybe Tom Hanks will make a cameo in the series. Doubtful, but one can only hope America’s dad will show up somehow.

Well, you gave me a good avenue back into Tomorrow War because this is a movie about families, about kids, about what we owe the next generation. This is clearly a film about global warming. Is this something that was on your mind as you made it?

The Space Jam: A New Legacy video game is actually a result of a competition where fans were asked to submit ideas for a video game inspired by the Warner Bros. Pictures sequel. The game combines ideas from two different gamers. The adult entry, Ricky from the United States, proposed a beat ’em up inspired by classic arcade games, and Xbox and Warner Bros. decided to combine them with game mechanics proposed by the youth entry, Narayan from India.
