Sunday Night Football DraftKings Picks N è stato creato da seestyle
The Steelers and Bills met on Sunday Night Footballlate in the season in a big game last year, and it's an even bigger matchup on Sunday Night Football in Week 14 of 2020. Both teams are contending for top-end AFC playoff seeds and bring lots of talent to Buffalo on Sunday night. With much talent comes much intrigue for our single-game DFSpicks, which rely on a familiar DraftKings Showdown captain and a Bills-heavy approach with Pittsburgh showing its flaws in Week 13's lo s.
Paying down for a mid-tier captain in Gabriel Davis allows us to play James Bradberry Jerseys two of the Steelers' three top receivers. That helps us get a decent piece of the Pittsburgh offensive pie even though we're fading Ben Roethlisberger. We've avoided the running games in a Sunday night contest that feels like it will be decided through the air.
MORE DK SHOWDOWN:
DraftKings Showdown Picks: Bills vs. SteelersCaptain (1.5x price, 1.5x points): WR Gabriel Davis, Bills ($7,500)
Yes, Davis was our captain play for Monday night in Week 13, and that tact was foiled by Cole Beasley's standout performance. But that result raised Beasley's price by $800 and lowered Davis's by $800, and they're not that different in terms of predicting who Lorenzo Carter Jerseys plays better Sunday night. Even Beasley's big game against San Francisco didn't stop Davis from three catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, production that we'd gladly take again tonight.
FLEX: QB Josh Allen, Bills ($12,200)
We've chosen to play only one quarterback in this game, and while Pittsburgh's defense is strong, Allen is still that choice. He's a much larger threat to throw down the field and to rush for a score than Ben Roethlisberger, meaning his fantasy upside is simply greater. Fading Allen feels more likely to beat us than fading Big Ben.
FLEX: WR Stefon Diggs, Bills ($10,000)
A matchup with Joe Haden could be limiting in some ways for Diggs, but worries about Richard Sherman last week wound up being unfounded as Diggs caught 10 pa ses. He and Allen are on too similar of a wavelength at the moment to play one without the other.
FLEX: WR Saquon Barkley T Shirts Diontae Johnson, Steelers ($9,000)
Pittsburgh's receiving corps could feature one lame duck in this game, and that's likely whoever ends up guarded by Tre'Davious White. But because of all the Steelers' talents, that might not be a usual shadow one-on-one routine for White on Sunday night. So, we'll just bet on Johnson and JuJu Smith-Schuster as the two heavily targeted options and hope Chase Claypool doesn't find the end zone.
FLEX: WR Lawrence Taylor T Shirts JuJu Smith-Schuster, Steelers ($7,000)
Smith-Schuster sort of sums up what's happened to Big Ben's arm strength, as in the last two weeks JuJu has totaled 15 catches for 65 yards. It's not an appealing line in one sense, but the targets remain encouraging and DK's PPR scoring makes Smith-Schuster useful. He's also due to break one of those short catches for a big gain.
FLEX: K Tyler Ba s, Bills ($3,600)
James Washington might be a popular low-priced play thanks to his big gain last time out, but playing Ba s feels more appealing because kickers never see too high of ownership. He's shown an ability to drain kicks from 50-plus yards this season, so the rookie could pile up points in a hurry with just one or two kicks Sunday night.
