Who is Darrell Bevell?Bevell, 51, is a long-time NFL coach. Hemade stops inGreen Bay, Minnesota, Seattle and Detroit before landing with the Jaguars as their offensive coordinator in 2021. Bevell has worked his way up from a sistant QBs coach with the Packers to offensive coordinator.
Most notably, Bevell was the Seahawks' offensive coordinator between 2011 and 2017, winning a Super Bowl in 2013 as the architect of the team's offense. While the famed "Legion of Boom" defenses in Seattle caught a lot of headlines, Seattle's ground-and-pound attack coupled with Ru sell Wilson's big-play ability led to a top-10 scoring offense in 2014

In all, Bevell went 1-4 as Detroit's interim coachand was dismi sed afterthe 2020season.
Early reports indicate that the elevation of Bevell to interim OC is a popular decision among Jags players and staffers, and he is viewed as a "polar opposite" from Meyer.
